Science Research allows students to pursue independent research in a topic of their choice. Students can take the class for up to 3 years and earn up to 12 college credits along the way.

Students will spend up to 3 years learning about science research methods and conducting authentic, original scientific research in fields such as 

• Chemistry
• Physics
• Biology
• Medicine and Medical Health
• Psychology and Mental Health
• Sociology
• Astronomy
• Earth and Space sciences
• Math
• Computer science
• Agriculture

Through the program, students will seek to receive mentoring from a professional in the discipline of their choice. In their second and third years, students can earn up to 12 college credits through the University of Albany.
