FREE & REDUCED MEAL APPLICATION INFORMATION
WCSD will be opting to use the SSO Waiver for the School Year 2021-22 ONLY
Therefore, Reimburseable Breakfast and Lunch will be at NO cost to WCSD Students in PK through 12th grade.

Applications for free and reduced-price meals are sent home with students on the first day of school, and or are available in your child's main office, the Food Service Office, or can be printed through the link below. If you receive food stamps or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), you may receive a Direct Certification letter in August from the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance. A completed application OR the Direct Certification letter can be returned to your school's main office or teacher, given to the kitchen staff' or mailed to Wappingers Central School District Food Service Office, P.O. Box 359, Wappingers Falls, N.Y. 12590.
A new application (only one Free or Reduced Lunch application is required per family) must be completed every school year. You will receive notification of status by mail within 10 days of receipt of an application or direct certification.YOU MAY APPLY FOR MEAL BENEFITS AT any time DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.All Students must use their personal identification number at the cash register and select a reimbursable meal which is described in the FAQ's section under what makes up a school meal. Snacks may be purchased by cash or by depositing money in their account. The menu which is available on the web site or sent home by your child’s school will show you what is available at your child's school.
