My interest in serving on the board of education is first and foremost, having the student body and the WCSD families at heart.  Having been a product of the district myself, as well as a proud parent of my two sons within the district, I can offer a “real time” voice to matters and concerns district wide.  Protecting the integrity and future growth of the district, and as a result our community, is my personal goal.  I will advocate for the safety, broadening of services/programs available to our students, all while being mindful of the budget concerns of our community members.  I look forward to the opportunity to serve in an honest, thoughtful manner.

It has been my greatest honor to serve the community, families, staff and most importantly the students of this district.  I am seeking re-election this year to continue working on reforming special education, champion for more funding, and working on fixing infrastructure repairs and improvements.  I will continue to advocate for the funding both at state and federal levels for pre-K, Special Education unfunded mandates, security and mental wellness.  At the district level I will promote expansion of programs across all grade levels and a continued balanced budget under the tax cap.

It has been an honor to serve the students, families, staff, and community of the WCSD for the past three years. As a board member, I have worked hard to ensure that every decision we make puts students first and supports the success of every learner.

I have championed initiatives to improve student achievement, expand access to mental health resources, and enhance our curriculum to reflect real world skills.

If re-elected, I will continue to advocate for equitable state funding, safe and inclusive learning environments, and strong support for our dedicated educators. I will also work to strengthen career and technical education pathways, support early literacy efforts, and ensure responsible budgeting that reflects our community’s values.

As a parent in the Wappingers Central School District, I am committed to advocating for a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. With a degree in Psychology and a professional background in social services, I possess a comprehensive understanding of student development and the needs of our community.  I have served as PTA President and as a member of the District-Wide Safety Committee. Recently, I advocated for enhanced safety measures on school grounds and smaller ICT classroom sizes. I am confident that we can balance fiscal responsibility while ensuring our students have the tools they need to succeed. It would be an honor to serve as a trustee, continuing to prioritize student well-being, equity and academic excellence.
