About me...
A little about my back ground in education and speech & language:
This is my eleventh year working in Wappingers Central School District. I previously worked in Early Intervention, servicing children and families ages birth to 5 for several years. Prior to WCSD, I spent eight years working in a 1st - 2nd grade school in Westchester. I received my BA in Communication Sciences from SUNY New Paltz. After which, I attended Adelphi University and received my Masters of Science in Deaf Studies. Following that, I completed a second Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at SUNY New Paltz. I am a NYS licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and I hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence with ASHA. I maintain dual certifications as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired and as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped.
