Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
Greetings! I hope you are all doing well during this unprecedented time. We are moving forward with “distance” learning/online learning for Health class. As everyone acclimates to this process of learning and teaching, it will require some patience, flexibility and understanding from all parties. It is likely that I will modify assignments and/or due dates as we proceed, and I assess what works for you, the student, and for me with online learning or to comply with district (or state) directives.
For the duration of the time that I will be providing instruction, I will be available 11:30-12:30 and 2:30-3:30 on Remind and email. If you reach out at other times with questions between 8am and 8pm, I will get back to you that day.
Some of you started work on the assignments I posted and you have done a great job. Starting Friday, 4/3, assignments will be on Google classroom. I ask that everyone check in on Google Classroom on or before 4/3 and do the “check in survey”. Going forward (starting 4/3), any assignments that you have not already started or turned in should be done through Google Classroom. However, I will continue to accept work via email or by sharing in Google, if that works best for you.

Regarding grading, I hope to have a transparent grading system in place within the first week. That means you will be able to see what’s been due and the grade. I recommend that you keep current with lessons.Assignments have due dates, but due to the circumstances, of course I will be lenient and accept any work through 4/19. If there are issues with getting the work completed in a timely manner, please reach out.
I can be contacted at (and any Google format shared at) email@example.com .
I can be reached through Remind. The Remind code for class is @6f33g6 . Text this code to 81010 to join or go to https://www.remind.com/join/6f33g6.
Stay safe and stay healthy!
