    Congratulations to the RCK students selected to perform in the 2022 NYSSMA Area All-State Zone 10 Festival on November 18 and 19, at Red Hook High School. The selection of so many of our students to perform in the Area All-State Ensembles is a great honor for the performers and a point of pride for our community. Students were selected through a stringent audition process completed in last spring’s NYSSMA solo ensemble competition. We congratulate these students and their music teachers on this fine accomplishment.

  • WCSD RECEIVES BEST COMMUNITIES FOR MUSIC EDUCATION DESIGNATION

    For the fifth year in a row, Wappingers Central School District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.

    The Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) Award is a signature program of The NAMM Foundation that recognizes and celebrates school districts and schools for their support and commitment to music education and efforts to assure access to music for all students as part of a well-rounded education.
