If you are feeling stressed or worried- take a look at some of the ideas below. You would be surprised at how simple some of these may seem- but can really help you when you are feeling stressed.
1. Practice Mindfulness! What is mindfulness? It paying attention to the things around you with kindness and curiosity. Here are some simple Mindful Minutes you can try.

Some Activities to try
Appreciate: Get yourself comfortable: in a chair, on the floor. You can choose to close your eyes or find something in the room to focus on that is not another person. Take a few slow deep breaths in through your nose out through your mouth.
Now as you breath, think about 3 things in your life that you appreciate. Just think about them.
Take about a minute to really pay attention to this idea. Notice how thinking of these things makes you feel.
Take a deep breath in through your nose, out through your mouth…. Open your eyes and have a great day!
Stretching your hearing: Begin by finding a comfortable position, close your eyes and take some deep relaxing breaths. Now breath normally. Focus on your hearing and listen for any sounds that you hear. Listen for sounds as far away from you as possible. Do you hear a car? A plane? Just relax your breathing and listen. Try to just focus on listening for about a minute.
If other thoughts come into your mind, just gently try to refocus on what you are hearing. If you have to shift your position, that is OK, just refocus yourself and what you can hear.
Now Bring your hearing back closer to yourself. Pay attention to what you hear and how you are breathing. Can you hear your own breathing? What else can you hear?
Then, when you are ready, take a deep breath in through your nose, out through your mouth. Open your eyes and have a great day!
2. Try the Square Breathing or Finger Tracing Breathing I have done on the E-News.
3. Write a Graditude Journal. Each day just write down or draw a picture of 3 things you are thankful for- they can be big or very small and simple.
