    *UPDATE*  Evans Families:

    April 1, 2020

    Dear Parents & Caregivers,

I hope this finds you well and healthy as we navigate this “new normal.” I miss seeing my students and hope they are all doing well too!  I just wanted to reach out and provide an update on speech/language services. We will be sending assignments/resources via our Google Classroom.  In the next few days, we will contact you with your child’s Google Classroom code. Attached at the bottom of this letter are steps of how to access Google Classroom and turn in assignments.

Prior to our extended break, I had updated my website with a number of resources which I hope you found helpful. In case you didn’t check it out here is the link :

    *UPDATE* Oak Families:

    April 1, 2020

    Dear Parents & Guardians,

On Friday April 3, 2020 we officially return to school through our new online learning format. This is a new experience for us all, especially for our children. This is new to us also, so please be patient as we navigate this together.   At this time speech therapy will be provided through the Google Classroom platform.

We are aware that this new platform may be overwhelming and take time to get used to.  At this time we have been added as a co-teacher in your student’s classroom. This means assignments from us will all come under the same classroom as the classroom teacher,  but will be marked as a speech assignment.

Friday, April 3rd I will be sending an “assignment” as a test run. This will be located under the “classwork” tab on your student’s google classroom.  This is for us to see that our students are receiving the work.

We will each have daily office hours where we will be available to answer any questions. More information about these hours will be provided shortly and will be posted on Google Classroom as well as my website: https://sites.google.com/wcsdny.org/tsontosorlandohomepage/home

    Warmly,

Mrs. Tsontos (Mrs. T) & Ms. Glas
