    Dear Parents and Students,

I miss you all and hope you are doing well at home. Although we are not seeing each other at school, know that I am thinking of you and wishing you well. Please check the different tabs and resources on my web page for ideas about what you can do during this time. I also have information about helpful support services.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me should you need any additional supports or assistance.  I am here to support you! I will be holding office hours Monday-Friday from 9-10. This is dedicated time to address your questions or concerns. If you need to contact me you can email me at Laura.Brundage@wcsdny.org and I will respond to arrange a time to connect. We can arrange to discuss any issues that you or your child may be facing. I also check my email regularly throughout the day. Office hours are separate from any counseling sessions.

    Warm Regards,
    Mrs. Brundage

What does a School Social Worker do?
School Social Workers address peer concerns, help children learn about feelings and how they effect each of us. I guide students to practice positive choices and behaviors. I may go into classrooms to speak with everyone or meet with students individually or in small groups. Sometimes, a student just needs a place to come to talk.

I also help staff and parents. I provide information about resources, consult about parenting or behavior issues and help with referrals.

Please contact me regarding any questions or concerns you may have.
