SQ3R Method
I hope you find this study method useful! I think you will!S = Survey: Look over the material before you begin reading. Take notice of
headings, illustrations, people, etc. Just get an idea of what the reading is about.
Q = Question: As you survey, begin thinking of questions that you may have about the
text. For one example, maybe there are key words you aren't familiar
with but feel they would be important to know for a test! Write your
questions down!!!
3R = Read: Read the text carefully.
Recite or write the answers to the questions you developed OR talk them over with a
partner!
