Classroom "Daily" ProgramsResponsibility is a character trait that develops over time. It is important to help children to realize that they are not only individuals, but also members of many groups - friends, the class, their families, the community.
Caught Being Good
Each time a student is caught performing a random act of kindness, he or she will be rewarded a “Caught Being Good” coin and sticker to proudly wear.
Treasure Box
The treasure box includes: stickers, toys, ice cream from the cafeteria, $0.50 for school store, pencils, erasers, bookmarks, candy, and a few surprises!!!!!*The first card is a gentle reminder.
*The second card is an additional reminder.
*The third card is a note home to be signed by a parent/guardian.
The Reflection Center
* Everyone makes mistakes -it is important that one reflects and learns from them.
*The reflection center encourages students to think about inappropriate actions and choices that they have made.
*The center guides the student by providing a quiet area to think about, explain, and illustrate the incident.
*The incident will then be discussed.
*The reflection will be sent be signed by the teacher, student, and sent home for parent signature.
Mystery Walker
*Students are reminded to display appropriate hallway behavior.
*Students are engaged knowing that a teacher has chosen a “Mystery Walker” to observe.
*If the “Mystery Walker” follows hallway expectations, s/he will be rewarded with a decorative self-adhesive loop.
The Desk Fairy
*The “Desk Fairy” comes once a week to check a chosen desk.
*The students are motivated to keep their desks neat and organized all week in preparation for a visit.
*The Desk Fairy will leave a special note rewarding the student inside his/her desk.

Daily Rainbow & Green Hot Air Balloons for making good choices and reaching expectations of 3rd grade will receive a stamp each day. When 12 stamps is reached a visit to the treasure box is the reward!Extraordinary Behavior Build a Word
Each Day an extraordinary word will be built. When the class displays grade level expectations, the earn a letter to build the word. Each letter represents 5 minutes of recess time. Students have the opportunity to earn extra recess daily with this program!Quiet Critters
Independent work incentive to keep on task and focused. Those who keep the critters on their desks at the end of the day get a reward.
Magic Moments
You know what they are...when something UNBELIEVABLE happens and you are speechless.... A reward must be given from the "Magic Moment Lunchbox.”
