Work at Home- Alternate Instruction

Hello Friends!

I hope this finds you all well.  As a district, we will begin remote learning on Friday, April 3rd.  We will mostly be using Google Classroom, a free web service, developed by Google for schools.  Google Classroom is a tool to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students (and families). It can connect you and your students to all resources they will need to be successful in their distance learning endeavors.

Sometime today or tomorrow (4/1 or 4/2), please login to Clever (<---click), then follow directions to get into Clever platform.  Once in, scroll down to Google Classroom, click on icon.  Then you should see our Classroom-Ms. Egan 2019-2020 .  Click on icon.  Across the top you will see “Stream”, “Classwork”, “People”.  You will ALWAYS want to click on “Classwork”.  Once there, you will see all of our assignments this year! Additionally, I’ve posted a new assignment that I would love for you to complete for practice.  Please click on the assignment and complete.  Be sure to “Turn in” once complete. 

PLEASE, feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. You can email me, christie.egan@wcsdny.org, text via ClassDojo, or add a comment into Google Classroom. Either way, I will get your message and get back to you soon as possible. DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK QUESTIONS. Don’t worry, we are in this together.  We are going to take it nice and slow as we ALL transition into online learning.
