Hi! My name is Amy Near and this will be my 15th year at Brinckerhoff Elementary. I am the mother of two daughters, Autumn and Penelope, and the step-mother to Chloe. My husband, family, and I live in Lagrangeville NY. I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a bachalors degree in Education in 2002 and a masters degree in Special Education and Literacy from Mount Saint Mary College in 2005. I love teaching second grade and I am very excited about the upcoming school year.
