First Grade Supply List                      

Welcome to first grade!  The first grade teachers will be working in our classrooms on Wednesday, September 4, from 3:00pm-4:00pm.  Please come by to unpack your supplies and say hello to some of your classmates if you are able. 

Enjoy your summer!  

• 24 or more Ticonderoga sharpened pencils
• 2 or more large glue sticks (we use SO many throughout the year, we always need more!)
• 1 box of 24 crayons and 1 box of 8 crayo ns 
• One small, sturdy pencil sharpener with lid (not battery operated, please)
• 2 large erasers
• 1 pair scissors (labeled)
• 1 box of thin, black, low odor dry erase markers 
• 2 highlighters 
• 1 dry erase eraser or 1 old, clean sock to use as an eraser
• 1 box of tissues
• If your last name begins with A-L, please bring in Sandwich or Quart Sized Ziploc bags, if your name last name begins with M-Z, please bring in Gallon Ziploc bags 
• 1 old shirt for a smock (labeled) in a Ziploc bag
• 4 Plastic folders labeled with your name: 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 red, 1 of your choice
• 1 pair of headphones (no ear buds) in a plastic bag labeled with your child’s name 
• $10.00 in an envelope labeled with your child’s name for class parties
• $6.00 in an envelope labeled with your child’s name for Scholastic News
• Small supply box labeled and filled with 1 box of 24 crayons, 2 dry erase markers, scissors, and 2 glue sticks from above supplies

** CLASS SPECIFIC FOR ONLY Mrs. Carroll and Mrs. Granuzzo:                   

1 inch, 3 ring hardcover, inexpensive binder 

Optional Class Donations / Wish List:

• Dry Erase markers ** extras are SO helpful, we use them ALL the time :)
• Small container of Handi Wipes or a small roll of paper towels
• Extra glue sticks

Special request:

Please send an email to your child’s teacher with your first grader’s name in the subject line so we have a correct email to add to our class contact list.  In the body of the email please include parent names, address, and any contact information you may want to include for a class directory once the school year starts. Thank you!
