    Welcome to Room #27!        
     
    My name is Mrs. Misch and I will be your fourth grade teacher this school year! Some activities I enjoy are reading, gardening and practicing yoga. My wonderful family and I also enjoy spending time together with our golden retrievers, Cobie and Max! This summer, we are celebrating my daughter Lauren's wedding.  She is a former Gayhead student and John Jay graduate.  Oh my, how time flies!  Time is most precious, so I beleive that we should make the most of our time together and enjoy each moment. I am excited to share my experiences with you in September!  
     
    This will be my 17th year teaching fourth grade.  I attended Mercy College and am dual certified to teach Elementary and Special Education.  I enjoy working with all learners, especially fourth graders!  I believe our classroom mirrors the world we live in.  I encourage a safe and positive learning environment.  There will be many opportunities to learn and grow from each other in our classroom.  My hope is that, in our classroom, we respect one another, work cooperatively, put forth our best effort, and enjoy learning!
