• ELA

ELA instruction consists of three areas that are addressed daily - reading, writing, and word study.  Grammar, spelling and language instruction will be integrated into writing and word study.  Each lesson is delivered in workshop model format, a research-based model with proven success.  Students will be reading and writing daily, practicing taught strategies, and developing more advanced skills.  There are notebooks for reading and writing that will be utilized regularly, including at home.
