Mrs. O'Dell
Welcome to my website. My name is Mrs. Lucretia O'Dell and this is my 17th year teaching. I'm originally from Bucks County, PA -a suburb just outside of Philadelphia. I moved to the Hudson Valley 15 years ago. I attended Gwynedd-Mercy University in Philadelphia and received my bachelors in Elementary Education. I've also attained a Masters Degree in Reading K-6 from Mercy College. I've been an AIS teacher for Wappingers for 15 years. This is my 6th year at Gayhead Elementary. I am so happy to be a Gayhead Grizzley!
I love to spend time with my family. I live in Wappingers with my husband, Ray, my three step-sons, and my two sons: Mike (25), Frank (21), Ray (19), Sean (9), and Jack (2). As you can guess, my life is very busy! We love to spend time fishing, riding 4-wheelers, attending baseball games (go Phillies!), going to the zoo (we are members at the Bronx Zoo), and visiting the many wonderful places in the Hudson Valley (I love the Walkway on the Hudson). I also enjoy reading, going to the movies, and shopping.
