• Most Math, Science and Social Studies assignments will be graded using percentages. Work will be graded and returned as soon as possible. Please sign and return all graded assignments that are stamped with "Please Sign & Return."  Your child will keep graded work filed away in his/her binder.  At the end of each marking period you may clean out the binder. Reading and Writing assignments will be graded using rubrics.
     
    On the report card 4s mean above grade level ability, 3s mean on grade level ability, 2s mean on grade level with assistance, and 1s mean below grade level ability.
    The report card has specific standards that your child needs to master. 
    Assignments will reflect these specific standards and will be averaged together to reflect a holistic grade on the report card.  You will be able to see which standards your child has mastered and which ones your child needs to continue to practice and master.
