The library is open during school hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
How often do students have library class?
Students come to the library for one regularly scheduled class in a six-day cycle. In order to provide extra time for research and projects, teachers often schedule additional classes. You can check out the link for the library schedule to see what day in the cycle each class comes to the library.
When can students borrow books?
Students usually exchange books during their regularly scheduled library class. However, the library is open to all students during the school day and they can come in anytime to exchange their library books.
When are library books due?
Students can borrow books for six school days. Normally, the due date is the next time they have library class. Sometimes, students are given an extended loan period for books used for class projects and book reports.
Can students renew books?
Yes, they can! Students can stop by the library anytime to renew their books. If the book is renewed on the day it is due, then they must bring the book with them in order to renew.
How many books can each student borrow?
Kindergarten: 1 book
1st grade: 1 book
2nd grade: 2 books
