Reading is a very important part of learning English. Reading is more exciting when it's done for pleasure, not as an assignment. That is why we have ENL Library Day. Every Friday your child will choose a book to take home for the weekend. On Monday students are expected to return the book to our classroom. The book will be in a clear plastic bag - return the book in it. Please read the book with your child. Have your child tell you what the book was about, ask questions about it. I hope you enjoy the experience or sharing the joy of reading together.

La lectura es una parte muy importante de aprender inglés. Leer es más emocionante cuando se hace por placer, no como una tarea. Es por eso que tenemos un día de biblioteca de ENL. Todos los viernes su hijo elegirá un libro para llevar a casa durante el fin de semana. El lunes se espera que los estudiantes devuelvan el libro a nuestro salón de clases. El libro estará en una bolsa de plástico transparente, devuelva el libro. Por favor, lea el libro con su hijo. Haga que su hijo le cuente de qué se trata el libro, haga preguntas al respecto.
