Hello there!  My name is Jeannie Newman and I can't wait to begin the 2019-2020 school year. This will be my 13th year teaching Kindergarten at Vassar Road. My very first group of Kindergarten students graduated from high school last year.  Time really flies when you are having fun! 

I am so excited to begin another year with all of my wonderful students.  I absolutely love meeting and getting to know my class in September and working with them throughout the year.  I also have some help in the room with me.  I am so fortunate that I get to teach with Mrs. Dana Zivica.  This will be our 3rd year working together and we can't wait to get started.  

When I am not in school, I am very busy with my husband Bill, who is also a teacher in the Wappingers School District, and our two amazing children Lauren(8) and Ryan(5).  We also have a 2 year old dog named Rosie.
