Grades are taken on independent work after instruction and practice on skills. Assessments are given after units of study are completed. Report cards are sent home at the end of each quarter. Report cards use a 4, 3, 2, and 1 grading system. A 4 means a student is excelling in grade level standards. A 3 means a student is proficient in grade level standards. A 2 means a student is partially proficient in grade level standards. A 1 means a student is performing far below proficient in grade level standards.
