• Welcome to Fifth Grade! I hope that everyone had a fun and relaxing summer. I enjoyed my time setting up the classroom with Mrs. Sokol and planning for the new school year and now I am very excited that the first day is finally here!

     

    For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Mrs. Butler. This is my tenth year teaching here at Brinckerhoff and I couldn’t be any happier about it!   To tell you a little bit about myself, aside from teaching, I enjoy reading, dancing, going to the movies and spending time with my family.  I have a one year old son named Landon, who is the center of mine and my husband's world!  I am sure you will hear tons of stories throughout the year about the funny things he does.

     

    We have a very exciting and busy year ahead filled with many hands-on, interesting activities, projects, writing assignments, and experiments to complete that I am sure everyone will love. I will be working closely with your other wonderful teachers at Brinckerhoff to ensure that this year is as engaging, productive, and educational as it can possibly be!
