    A little about me.....

I grew up in Wappingers and went through the WCSD schools.  After I graduated from RCK, I left for Albany and earned my BS in Early Childhood Education (Birth-2nd Grade) and Special Education (Birth-2nd Grade) at The College of St. Rose.  After graduation, I just couldn't stay away from WCSD and began working at Gayhead.  I taught 1st grade there for 3 years and truly enjoyed it.  While I was teaching there, I earned my Masters in Childhood Literacy (Birth-6th Grade) at SUNY New Paltz.

In 2010 I came to Myers.  2010-2011 I was the Special Education Teacher for a Kindergarten Integrated Co-Teaching Classroom in the morning and the same but for a 2nd grade classroom in the afternoon.  2011-2014 I had a Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade classroom.  I returned to a 2nd Grade Co-Integrated Teaching Classroom back in September 2014 and continued in that position until June 2017.

Last year and now the 2019-2020 is shaping up to be phenomenal! I will be co-teaching Kindergarten with Mrs. Connolly and 1st grade with Mrs. Noyes.  I am very much looking forward to getting to know all my new students and their families!

On a personal note, I live locally with my husband, our daughter Ella, our son Sal, and our old big mushy Goldendoodle Bo.   I have a very big family that lives in the Hudson Valley as well.

I have found my home in Myers.  It is a great community to be a part of.  I cherish each year I get to grow with your children and be a part of this wonderful school.
