Parent Workshop on our Remote Learning Instructional Plan
At Wappingers CSD our primary commitment is to the students and families we serve. In response to the NYS Governor's Orders, the District has completed our NYS Assurance Certified School Re-Opening Plan. This plan aligns with the requirements assigned to us by the State of New York.
We know that the start of this school year will be unlike any other, and we know that there are still many questions that need to be answered. With that being said, we are pleased to announce the start of the Parent University Workshop Series for the 2020-2021 school year.
The first workshop will discuss our Remote Learning Instructional Plan for students in grades K-12. In this session, you will learn about the Remote Learning Instructional Plan for all of our students in grades K-12; its synchronous and asynchronous Instructional components; and about our Parent University Workshop offerings that are coming in the 2020-2021 school year. This first workshop will be offered twice on Thursday September 3rd. The first session will be held at 2pm. The second, encore presentation will be held at 6pm.The workshop will be live streamed from our video streaming website. In addition the following form will be activated at the start of the meeting for families to use to ask questions live throughout the presentation (Please note, the form will not be accepting responses until the workshop begins).Once again, If you have any questions about our Remote Learning Plan please submit them using this form throughout the presentation.
We are hoping to accommodate as many families as possible by offering these two sessions.
