Reading: Some of the topics that we will be learning are: letter/sound recognition , decoding skills, and comprehension skills (following directions and listening comprehension). Reading instruction will consist of: read alouds and shared reading with both fiction and non-fiction texts. A focus on individual skills will be used during reading instruction this school year.
Writing: Some of the topics that we will be learning are: handwriting skills, tracing letters and words, and composing words/sentences. A focus on individual skills will be used during writing instruction this school year.
Math: Some of the topics that we will be learning are: number recognition, counting, counting on, counting back, adding, and subtracting. A focus on individual skills will be used during math instruction this school year.
