Ryleigh and Morgan from years ago :)
    Hi!

I am so excited to have you in my class this year! We will be very busy and working very hard. However, there will be times where it is a little bit crazy and a little bit silly. We will be doing all sorts of different things together this year to expand upon your skills and knowledge that you have learned up to third grade.I feel that you should know a little bit more about me so that you will have an idea of what to expect during the year.
Long ago, (longer than I would like to think. . .) I attended University at Buffalo in Buffalo New York. I worked for four years there to eventually graduate with my B.S. in Early Childhood. I wanted to make sure that if I was going to work with kids like you, that I understood all the stages you go through when you grow, especially when you learn.  After I graduated, I then went on to work in a preschool class of three year olds, which I absolutely loved! Then I made the choice to venture out to Wappingers Falls New York. I married my husband Chris, who you will hear a lot about! I then was offered a job in which I worked at an enrichment program in Scarsdale, New York. I also thoroughly enjoyed the kids there!  Then had my first daughter Morgan. She is 16 years old is a senior! I wanted to be close to her in case she needed me, so I came to Brinckerhoff.  I then decided to go back to school at Marist College. I graduated with a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology. For the first five years at Brinckerhoff,  I worked with first graders and boy did they make me laugh! Many of them are in high school now, but they still come to visit.  I have another daughter named Ryleigh. She is a funny one! She is a seventh grader!  We also have three dogs named Penelope, Seneca and Winston. You will hear all kinds of stories about my family. It gets a little crazy at our house, but it makes for great stories at school! :)
I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit more about me. I will work you hard this year, but I promise there will be many times of  us having  a lot of fun! I absolutely love, love, love getting to know all of the kids in my class and can't wait to get to know you!  I look forward to another great year  teaching third grade!
