    Directions 6th - 8th grade...I have invited all of the students directly to my Physical Eduation Google Classroom.  Please accept. In case you are still having trouble here are the instructions.

     
    To access the online materials please use the following directions:
     
    Please have your child go to -classroom.google.com
    username:  firstname.lastname@K12.wcsdny.org
    password:   Firstname followed by their ID (lunch number) without a space.
    Then select the join button.  
     
    You will not need the code, since I have invited everyone.

    Direcetions Students K-5....  You do not need to join my google classroom as all of my assignments will be listed under the  Physical Education topic on your grade level teachers google classroom.

     

    At Home Curriculum:

    An April activity page will be provided.  Please complete the activity scheduled for that day.  

    There is also a link page and a home activity page.  Additional activities can be completed if desired. 

     

     
     
     

    New York State Physical Education Standards

    Standard 1

    Personal Health and Fitness

    Students will have the necessary knowledge and skills to establish and maintain physical fitness, participate in physical activity, and maintain personal health.

    A Safe and Healthy Environment

    Students will acquire the knowledge and ability necessary to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment.

    Resource Management

    Students will understand and be able to manage their personal and community resources.

     

    High quality physical education provides students with a planned, sequential, K-8 program designed to develop motor skills, knowledge and behaviors for active living, physical fitness, sportspersonship, self-efficacy and emotional intelligence. Regardless of the mode (face-to-face, hybrid or online), the goal of physical education is to develop physically literate individuals who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity.
