Ballots that need to be reissued due to a voter making an error or accidentally throwing it away, will be reissued by mail.  Ballots can not be distributed in person.
 
Eligible voters, who are not registered and who have requested an absentee ballot by use of the Absentee Ballot Request Form, were issued a ballot by the district by mail.

Thank you for your reply.  Just so that I am clear, if I do not get my ballot in the mail or if it gets lost or destroyed is there any way to request another or I am precluded from voting in the upcoming election?
Also, will those that recently registered on 2 June receive their ballots?

The Executive Order requires that an absentee ballot be mailed to voters. The District is unable to distribute absentee ballots in person. If you have not yet received your ballot, we are unable to send you a new one, as we need to prevent voters from having two opportunities to vote and it is likely that your ballot will arrive. The District has provided drop boxes for voters to deposit their ballots up until 5 p.m. on June 9th. I understand that the ballots were just sent out by NTS Data Services yesterday and that they will not arrive until Wednesday, 6/3 at the earliest.  I know that they will be mailed to all registered voters, but what is the contingency plan for registered voters who do not receive theirs in the mail or misplace them, as the deadline to request a new ballot was today, 6/2?  Will ballots be available at District Office to accommodate those who do not get them or misplace them?
I suspect the same answer would apply to anyone who has just registered to vote and will not be receiving a ballot from NTS, but if it does not, can you please explain how they will be able to cast their ballot, too?
