Mindfulness is increasing in popularity across our nation for people of all ages. This includes children all the way up to adults and seniors. School districts are beginning to include mindfulness practices as part of the "curriculum". You can't separate learning and wellbeing. Wellbeing is essential for learning. With mindfulness, students are more focussed and more engaged learners.
Practice mindfulness with your children before, during, or after online instruction or homework. Engage in meditation as often as your family's schedule allows. Allow your child to reap the benefits of meditation and mindfulness using technology. Meditating even only a few minutes a day has proven to reduce stress, boost immunity, aid memory and concentration, decrease depression and anxiety, and even make you more compassionate.
