RCK Students #PayItForward with The Memory Project
Students from Ms. Kelley Hedin's class had the opportunity to participate in The Memory Project. Part of the requirements for the Advanced Art class was to complete a portrait. Ms. Hedin introduced the project to her students sharing, "I just want to remind you how special you are to participate in this project. I already know the kindness you possess, but this is an opportunity to share that kindness and receive the attention you deserve for involving yourself in such a noble cause." This project not only gave students the opportunity to improve their painting skills but to do so with a purpose. Below is a slide show capturing the process of the project, in addition, you will find the video compiled by The Memory Project featuring video clips of the orphans as they received the portraits from our students.
Congratulations to Ms. Hedin and her students for participating in this project and making a difference in the lives of so many other children.
