John Jay & RCK Compete in Mid-Hudson Regional Science Olympiad Tournament
Congratulations to the John Jay Science Olympiad Team
We are pleased to report that the John Jay Science Olympiad A-team placed 4th out of 30 teams at the Mid-Hudson Regional Science Olympiad tournament. The John Jay B-team placed 9th out of 30 teams. The two teams won a combined 19 medals in 25 events, including 1st place for Anatomy and Physiology (Karthik Ledalla and Amy Zhou). Thirty students from John Jay participated in the tournament.
Everyone is looking forward to the New York State tournament at Le Moyne College in Syracuse on March 10-11th.

Congratulations to the Roy C. Ketcham Science Olympiad Team
The RCK Science Olympiad team did an amazing job and placed 7th out of 31 teams at the Mid-Hudson Regional competition on Saturday!
Leading the way with a first place medal in Dynamic Planet and a third place finish in Material Science were Vivek Hazari and Eileen Liang. Other medalists include Taskan Forkan, Ezster Beahan, Amina Tipu, Georgia Sampugnaro, Daria Potapova, Brendan Bode, Jeffrey Salazar, Kwame Hammond and Rima Patel.
