Our School

Oak Grove Elementary School is one of ten elementary schools in the Wappingers Central School District.  It is located in the Mid-Hudson Valley in Poughkeepsie, about 75 miles north of New York City. Oak Grove has approximately 500 students in Grades K-6.

It is a friendly, inviting school nestled among the houses in a well-kept, tree-lined neighborhood. The building is set back from the road and is not visible until visitors round a curve and come upon it! In 1971, the original one-room schoolhouse established in 1812 was moved to the Oak Grove property.
