Visitors and Chaperones

This is a friendly reminder for you to pre-register if you plan on coming into the building for an event or field trip. The pre-registration expedites the check-in process. Once you are pre-registered, it will send you the QR code which you can save to your phone as a photo. Thanks for your cooperation!

No siblings are allowed to attend a school event during school hours except kindergarten graduation and 6th grade moving up ceremony.

Tiger Trot, Block Party, and Color Run

Join us on Thursday, June 6th, from 5-7:00 pm at the Myers Playground. There will be lots of fun activities, music, and you can purchase a variety of food from different food trucks. Here is the link to sign up for the color run. This will be a memorable event!

Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony

We look forward to celebrating our Kindergarten students’ accomplishments together. The moving up ceremony will be on June 17th. Rain date, June 18th.

Time:         9:00 a.m. - Ms. Leitmann/ Mrs. Foppiano/ Mrs. Hatcher

                10:30 a.m. - Mrs. Jayner/ Ms. Perrone/Mrs. Seipp

You have to send a note to the teacher if you plan to take your child home after the ceremony. Thank you for your collaboration.

Sixth-Grade Moving Up Ceremony

Don’t forget to RSVP for our upcoming 6th-grade moving-up ceremony. The ceremony is on June 20th at 9:15 am.  Rain date is Friday, June 21st. Please RSVP by June 7th. For more information and to learn about other exciting events planned for our sixth-graders, please click here.

Holiday and Early Dismissal

There will be no school on Wednesday, June 19th in honor of Juneteenth. Our elementary students will have half-days on Friday, June 21st, Monday, June 24th, and the last day of the school year, Tuesday, June 25th. The latest time you can pick up at the front door is 10:15 am. Buses will depart at approximately 11:25 am.

A Message from the PTA

The PTA is happy to announce the Winner of our Spirit Week Grade War. Congratulations Kindergarten! They will be receiving an ice cream party! 🐾🐯

Elementary Summer Skills Builder Program

The Wappingers CSD is pleased to offer students in grades K-6 an opportunity to attend a two-week summer program focused on building skills in English Language Arts and Mathematics.  Students will have the option of attending one 2-week session, each of which will be offered Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9:00-11:30 AM.  

Details regarding the dates of the Elementary Summer Skills Builder Program are included in the application link below.  Space is limited; if more students apply than can be accommodated, priority will be given to students who need additional academic support to meet grade-level standards.  

The Elementary Summer Skill Builder Program will be held on the following dates and at the locations listed:

Session 1: July 22 - August 1 Locations: Evans and Gayhead

Session 2: August 5 - August 15 - August 5 Locations: Oak Grove and Gayhead

Students will be assigned to a site based on their home school. Transportation will be provided. 

Students who have been selected to attend will be notified via the contact information provided on the application.  Please complete one application for each child you would like to be considered to participate in the Summer Skills Builder Program.  Elementary Summer Skills Builder Program Application
