It is expected that students behave appropriately while riding on district buses. This is to ensure their safety as well as other passengers and to avoid distracting the bus driver.
Students are required to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with established standards for classroom behavior and the WCSD Code of Conduct.
Excessive noise, pushing, shoving and fighting will not be tolerated -- it is not safe for other students or the bus driver.
Bus drivers are authorized to safely pull the bus to the side of the road to speak with students, if warranted.
Bus drivers are authorized to assign seats and ask students to move to another seat.
A written conduct referral will be filed with the student's Principal for administrative action, if improper behavior continues.
