As a member of the Board of Education for the past three years – I have
*100% Attendance at all Regularly Scheduled Board Meetings
*Committees: Smart Schools Bond Act, Capital Improvement,
*Created the District’s Legislative Action Committee and created the
position of Board Liaison between the District and our local
Academics is only one part of a child’s education; extracurricular activities help develop well rounded students and I will work to protect
and maintain full scale extra curricular activities in sports, music, drama and the arts.
I want to make sure that our teachers and other district employees have access to the very best resources needed to successfully do their jobs.
I look forward to serving this community for another 3 year term and hope you will support my re-election on May 21st.
I have lived in Wappingers Central School District for fourteen years. The University of Phoenix is where I received an education in business. Presently I am a stay-at-home mother. My work experience has included the following: retail, food services, finance and real estate. Some of my hobbies include reading, crocheting and genealogy.
For the past eight years, I have participated in the following: PTA, Board of Education meetings, and district committees (Community Communication, Capital Improvement, and Legislative Action).
I believe that gaining a strong connection and communication with all members of our community is essential to an effective working relationship.
My daughter is a Special Education student in this district and this gives me a unique perspective to offer other members of the board and the community to issues that arise within this district. I would like to be a part of helping all children of this district along with their families to have a voice they feel is heard.
