Roy C. Ketcham High School recognizes that each child is an individual; that all children are creative; that all children need to succeed. Therefore, RCK respects the individual needs of children; foster a caring and creative learning environment and emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, intellectual development of each child.

  • Student Support Services & Accessible Education Department

    The Student Support Services & Accessible Education Department is committed to developing and implementing programs to meet the needs of diverse learners. The special education department provides supports and services to school-aged and preschool students identified as having an educational disability.    
     
    The department includes teaching staff, School Psychologists, Guidance Counselors, School Social Workers, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists & Nurses.  
     
    Each School (including out of district placements) is assigned an Assistant Director of Special Education or CSE Chairperson who helps to facilitate student programs and the development of Individualized Education Plan.  
     
    The department is overseen by the Director of Special Education and the Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services & Accessible Education.
