As a teacher, I cannot be achieving only for myself. Like a spider's web, a thousand fibers connect
us with each student. On those threads our actions vibrate one way and reverberate as effects
and impacts. I would like to enable my students with a web of knowledge, questions, trust,
compassion and a sense of community. I have an obligation not only to teach but also to be real.
I feel my greatest strengths is my ability to encourage and foster relationships with my students.
I will strive to look at each student as an individual and embrace their diversity. I would like to
be the compass in the classroom guiding my students along their educational path. I have a
unique and daunting responsibility to shape the future through my students.
It is a journey we will walk together.
