• Note for Parents, Guardians, and Students: Please check in to Google Classroom to find assignments, review, and supplementary materials for the next two weeks. (March 16th-27th). Materials will be posted by the end of the day on Monday, March 16th. Please email me directly if you have questions. The most important thing you can do to support your child's continued development in ELA is to ask your child to read independently for at least 30 minutes a day. If possible, read the same material and have conversations about what you are reading. Another option is to read to the reluctant reader; you'll be surprised to learn they enjoy just like when they were little!

"It must be remembered that the purpose of education is not to fill the minds of students with facts, it is not to reform them, or amuse them, or make them expert technicians in any field. It is to teach them to think, if that is possible, and always think for themselves." ---Robert Maynard Hutchins
