• Hi Parents.  I hope everyone is doing well, staying healthy and safe.  I wanted to reach out regarding the expectations of distance learning beginning for our students on Friday.  Students will be expected to log in to their Google Classroom account on a daily basis to view current assignments from their teachers, and to complete those assignments to the best of their ability.

     

    In order to help support my students, I have sent out invitations to all of the students' school emails to invite them to my extra help Google Classroom, as well as to my daily Google Meeting times.  

     

    In my Google Classroom, I will post information and resources that I feel will help the students in the completion of their social studies and science assignments.

     

    The Google Meeting time gives the students and me the ability to video chat, which I believe will make it easier for me to answer questions or explain social studies and science assignments to the students.  As of now, I will be available from 1:15 - 2:25 to work with students on a daily basis, Monday - Friday. There will be some times that I will be needed to attend virtual meetings which would make me unavailable for a short time, but that shouldn't happen too often.  

     

     

    You can also feel free to email me to schedule a time that works for you and/or your child, even if it's outside of the 1:15 - 2:25 window...I am extremely flexible!

     

    All of the students should have received the invitation to both my Google Classroom and Google Meetings, but if for some reason they didn't, I will have the Classroom Code posted on my website, and if they need a new invitation to the Meetings, please let me know and I will resend it to them.

     

    I appreciate all of your support and patience going forward, and would welcome any suggestions for how I can continue to support your child.  We're all new to this, so if you have any additional recommendations for me, I'm all ears!
