Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Elizabeth Junjulas
I am very excited to be teaching fifth grade this year! This is my third year teaching at Brinckerhoff Elementary School, I have taught third and fifth grade. Being part of the fifth grade team is such a rewarding and collaborative experience! I am responsible for teaching writing.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Marist College. I serve on the Teachers Advisory Board at Marist, where I offer suggestions to continue to improve the Marist education program. Currently, I am completing my Master's degree in Literacy at Mount Saint Mary College.
Prior to teaching at Brinckerhoff, I have worked in the Wappingers Central School District as a third grade student teacher and volunteer at Myers Corners Elementary School. Other than school settings, I have volunteered as a horse side walker for children with disabilities at Topfield Equestrian Center. My job was to hold the child steady in the saddle as they rode a horse. That experience was so fulfilling!
In my free time I enjoy going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with my parents and three brothers. My family and I have fostered dogs from the Hudson Valley SPCA animal shelter for six years. We welcomed several dogs into our home and cared for them until they got adopted. I would love to foster again in the future!
I could not be happier to be your teacher at Brinckerhoff and I look forward to a fantastic year!
