Reading Level 1 is a multisensory reading class; therefore we will be using a variety of materials and methods to improve  decoding, vocabulary and comprehension skills.

My expectations for each student:

-Participation in class is the most important. Students should be prepared to tap out sounds for reading and spelling, repeat the sounds after the teacher, and otherwise participate in this multisensory class.

- As with any other class, students should arrive on time, get their folders, and be prepared to start class.

- Students will respect teachers, classmates, and materials.

- All homework/ classwork assignments are for the purpose of drilling skills learned in class and will be graded.
