  • Delays and Cancellations

    Information regarding delays and cancellations can be received by calling the school and pressing #2. Occasionally, technology will not allow the phone system to accept the message. You may also access this information by checking the WCSD website at www.wappingersschools.org, signing up for Google News, or listening to the local radio stations.

  • School Calendar Change

    NY State Ed has revised the State Testing Schedule once again. Therefore, the date of the spring Superintendent's Conference Day has once again been revised. School will no longer be in session for students as previously scheduled on 5/4/12 AND school WILL be in session for students on 4/27/12. IN ADDITION, THE BOARD OF EDUCATION VOTED AT ITS MARCH 12TH MEETING TO AMEND THE SNOW DAY GIVE BACK SCHEDULE TO ACCOMMODATE THE STATE TESTING SCHEDULE. SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED FOR SPRING BREAK FROM 4/2 THROUGH 4/6. SCHOOL WILL CONTINUE TO BE CLOSED ON 4/9 AND 4/10 FOR TWO OF THE EMERGENCY CLOSING RETURN DATES. SCHOOL WILL BE IN SESSION ON 4/11, 12, AND 13. THE REMAINING TWO RETURN DATES WILL BE ON 5/18 AND 5/21 BARRING ANY NEED TO USE THEM.

  • Day Care/Babysitter Request Forms

    These forms are now available in the main office. Please remember these forms must be submitted annually and BEFORE April 1, 2012.

  • Kindergarten Registration

    Kindergarten Registration for Fall 2012 will be held at Brinckerhoff Elementary on March 6, 7, and 8 with an evening registration on March 7th at Myers Corners Elementary for ALL schools. Please contact the main office if you need a registration packet to register your child. If you do not receive the forms in the mail, they can be found at www.wappingersschools.org and click on Central Registration.

  • New Phone System

    Brinckerhoff Elementary has a new phone system. Our phone number remains the same. However, when dialing an extension, you must now add a 10 in front of the extension. For example, if you are dialing the nurse directly, you must now dial 10108. When dialing the special education office for school aged children, you must now dial 10112 or 10113 for pre-school aged children. If you have further questions, follow the prompts on the recording or call the main office.
