Mr. Vince Di Grandi, Assistant Principal of John Jay Senior High School

Dear John Jay Students and Families:

I am excited for another successful year at John Jay. Last year, my first as Assistant Principal, gave me the opportunity to meet and work with many students and their families to make their experience a positive one both inside and outside the classroom. I am again looking forward to assisting in any way I can to make John Jay a great place!

This year my main responsibility will be 10th grade administrator. Any sophomore that has a concern or issue, would like to come to my office for advice on navigating John Jay, or who would just like to talk, please feel free to contact me in room 104. If you need to set an appointment to meet with me, please set a time with Mrs. Kurzius, my secretary.

Another of my administrative responsibilities includes overseeing the many clubs and activities we have for students at John Jay. For those of you who might not play a sport, my suggestion is to find a good balance between academics and activities and get involved in the over 50 clubs we sponsor.
