·          Evaluate: Although students are aware of dangers involved in believing the authenticity and accuracy of information obtain on a “random” site, they tent to trust certain “well known” sites.  If you find it on Google… it just must be so.  They do however have some basic sensibilities in which sites are more likely to be trustworthy. Sites ending with edu or gov are believed to slightly more reliably.

PLAN OF ONGOING TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANCE

The Plan:

Describe a new or revised plan of ongoing technology assistance by which you define an area of technology integration based on the completed Standards and Criteria tasks and provides regular assistance to other staff members in that area.

 

 

 

1.      I will continue to be a troubleshooter for the faculty and staff at RCK. I am frequently asked for assistance in helping with many day to day aspects of computer usage. I will try harder to keep a log.

 

2.      I will reestablish the monthly users group meetings in my classroom after school, to address specific technology concerns by faculty. Notification will be by email.

 

3.      I will continue to be a mentor for other members of the RCK community who wish to apply for the Technology Certification.
