It might be a good idea to add that parents should tell their children to ask the teacher before they share their snacks because other children might be allergic to them, especially nuts, peanut butter and peanuts.

SNACKS OR PARTY TREATS

1. Popcorn, unsalted and unbuttered, or popcorn and nut mix

2. Unsalted nuts

3. Celery, stuffed with peanut butter or cream cheese

4.. Carrot sticks or green pepper sticks

5. Cucumber slices or sticks; radish slices

6. Cauliflowerettes or cabbage wedges

7. Melon cubes and/or berries

8. Pineapple chunks

9. Banana rolled in wheat germ

10. Nut, raisin and chex mix

11. Grape, melon balls, and fruit chunk mix

12. Granola

13. Soda bread

19. Ambrosia - fruit salad with coconut rather than marshmellows
