 **** We also need volunteers now to start planning the Family Event.  We have some ideas from Scholastic, but we need people to start the prep... cutting paper for crafts, etc...   {Lisa Ruvo and Peggy Farrington are helping coordinate the Family Event portion of the Book Fair....}
 We will also be running the One for Books! campaign where we ask the children to donate $1.  The $$ will be used to purchase books for the library.  We will also get our regular 30% profit on each dollar raised toward PTA stuff. AND.... Scholastic will donate 1 book for each $1 raised to charities such as "Toys for Tots" or "Children in Distressed Situations".  Last year, Scholastic donated 1 million BOOKS!  Fishkill Plains raised $250, so 250 of those books came from families in our school!!!  ALSO..... all those who donate $1 (or more) will be entered into a raffle to win free books at the Book Fair!!  This is a WIN/WIN!!
