We have run various fundraisers.  For example:
    Sept - Fall Fundraiser  (many great holiday gifts!)
    Oct - Entertainment Books  (makes a great holiday gift!)
    Nov - Handmade Candles  (makes a great holiday gift!)
    Jan - Otis Spunkmeyer Cookies  (to warm up your kitchen on a cold day with some hot chocolate!)
    Feb(Valentines) - $1 Candy Bars
    Mar - Ultimate Discount Cards (last year's cards expire in April 2008)
    Apr(Earth Day) - Environmentally Friendly Cleaning Products
    May - Zap-a-Snack   (to help you have quick snacks with the spring sports and activities rush

    Previous years, we have had:
    Yankee Candle  (the service was not up to par, so we dropped that one)
    Foam and Wash (this was run by the Drama Club to raise funds for them)
    Gertrude Hawke
    The After School Clubs bring in some cash which had been directed to the Track Fund, but could be changed.

The chairperson for this would do the following:
--Give George a number of students.  He will need to know our student count so he can send the appropriate number of order envelopes.
--Proof read/ update  the cover letter.   He also writes up a cover letter, so ask to see that and make any changes needed before he prints it up.
--Make sure the order envelopes get sent home
--Collect and collate the orders
--Let George know how many cards to send us  (order 10 extra so we have them for late comers)
--Tally up who earned incentive prizes and let George know this so he can send them to the school.
--Distribute incentive prizes to those who earned them.
