BINGO NIGHT  (Feb 8, 2008)
0) Check the office calendar and choose a date.  Let the custodians know.
       Set up all tables as they do for lunch and have one table in front or on stage for the bingo numbers to be called.
       Set up a table in the lobby for selling Bingo cards.
       Set up a table in the hall for the Refreshments.
       Set up any additional tables for Spirit Wear,  Drama Club Candy Bar fundraiser...
       Also, you will need the microphone.

1)  Get about 8 Volunteers for Bingo Night:.  The Vice President of Committees has the list of people who volunteered to help.
A few people to call numbers and check Bingo cards for the winners.
A couple people to sell Bingo Cards ($1 each).
A few people at the Refreshments Stand.

2) Locate the (dispoable) Bingo cards and  some crayons for marking in the PTA closet.  Buy more cards if needed at ??.  Make sure you have at least 400 (?)           6 games on a card,     100 people * 2 cards each = 200 cards, but to be safe, make sure you have 400.

3) Figure out all the types of Bingo Games with different winning patterns on the cards you want to play.
    a)  Normal,  Any full line -  horizontal or vertical
    b)  All 4 corners
    b)  "T"  Full top, bottom, or side line PLUS the middle line
    c)  "SQUARE" or "Picture Frame"   Full top, bottom and both side lines
    d) "X"
    e) "PLUS SIGN"
    c)  Whole card full   (do this last, it takes a long time)

4) Solicite Restaurants, Stewarts, McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, Pizza stores, Subway....  for Prizes.
Buy some Regal Cinema, Walmart, Dunkin Donuts's... $10 gift cards.
PTA can buy some of the fundraisers to donate as prizes.
24 (?)  prizes in all for 2 hours worth of Bingo; allows for 12 games,  2 winners each game.

5) Arrange refreshments =Peggy   (how much ??)

5) Send Memo and e-mail  home 5 days ahead.

6) Arrive 45 mins or so before the start of the event.  Make sure all the tables are in right place, set up BINGO basket on stage table, set up refreshments, make coffee.
Have volunteers arrive 30-15 mins early.

7) Allow 20 mins for everyone to buy the BINGO cards and get refreshments at the beginning.

8) Explain the fundraisers, SpiritWear, etc. that are set up.  Explain the rules "person can only win one prize", which Bingo Game you are doing and what the prize is for each game as you play it.

9) Have 'intermission" mid-way thru for more refreshments.

10)  Finish up and have a refreshments SUPER SALE if you want to get rid of everything.
