Dear Kindergarten Parents/Guardians:
We would like to take this time to welcome you and your child to the Fishkill Plains Elementary
School. Every child entering Kindergarten in the Wappingers Central School District should
participate in a screening program.
This program, along with the total Kindergarten program, will be explained to you on
Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 4:00pm in the All Purpose Room. This is an important meeting,
so please make every effort to attend. This afternoon meeting is for parents only. The
agenda is as follows:

Our Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Plambeck and Mrs. LaFalce, will be present to answer any
questions. We would like to assure you that every effort will be made to make your child's
introduction to school a pleasant experience. With your cooperation, we are sure that this will
be accomplished.
We are looking forward to seeing you on the afternoon of May 7, 2009. Orientation for
Kindergarten students will be held on the first day of school, September 9, 2009.
